The band Dragon Pony celebrated the joy of winning at their debut awards ceremony.
Dragon Pony (An Tae-kyu, Pyeon Seong-hyeon, Kwon Se-hyeok, Go Kang-hoon) won the 'Rookie Band Award' in the institutional sector at the '2025 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS' held on the 21st at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa District, Seoul.
Dragon Pony expressed their overwhelming emotions, saying, "It is an honor to receive the 'Rookie Band Award.' As we approach our 1st anniversary of debut, it feels even more meaningful. I love everyone who helps Dragon Pony live. I am always grateful to our fandom, Poong (fandom name)."
Following that, Dragon Pony delivered a powerful opening performance by selecting their recently released digital single 'Earth Boy.' They vividly portrayed the inner turmoil of imperfect youth with powerful vocals and dynamic performances. Despite the recurring despair, they shared their autobiographical story of being a light to each other through explosive band performances, resonating with the audience.
In particular, Dragon Pony, lifting their trophy at their debut awards ceremony, has been recognized for their musicality and has been praised for completing a true growth narrative. Dragon Pony is set to continue their active role as the best rookie in the K-band scene in various fields.
Meanwhile, Dragon Pony will participate in major domestic festivals including the '2025 Let's Rock Festival' on Sept. 7, the '2025 Busan International Rock Festival' on Sept. 28, and the 'Grand Mint Festival 2025' on Oct. 19, showcasing their performances.
