Actress Kim Nam-joo revealed her devoted mother side toward her son.
On the 21st, a video titled "A tour of home decor shops loved by American housewives" was released on Kim Nam-joo's YouTube channel.
That day, Kim Nam-joo went shopping for living items. She expressed happiness while looking at furniture and lighting. Soon, Kim Nam-joo said, "I need to buy something while I'm here. I always came here to buy things for the kids. I'm trying to prepare something for Chan-hee's dormitory, but since he's a boy, white is prohibited."
While doing so, Kim Nam-joo mentioned an episode related to being a mother to her son, saying, "When Hanni was in kindergarten, she'd come out saying 'Mom~'. A boy next to her would say 'Mom~' and come over, and she'd say, 'Come out, come out.' When I asked someone next to me why, they said she has three sons and that the youngest was coming out."
While shopping, Kim Nam-joo also prepared items for her son who is studying abroad. She said, "I need to buy a shower robe for my son. So I'm looking around this place again. When I was young, my mom sold at the market, so I still like the market. There's a bedding store where my mom always laid out bedding, and I used to sleep on stacking blankets like these." She added, "However, when I went abroad, I found that there are so many bed items. Since then, I have been so happy just looking at them."
Kim Nam-joo thought of her children while looking at items like shower robes and towels. She unfolded her son's school supplies list, saying, "My child bought this too. The school provides a packing list. It's in English, so I write it in Korean. He forgets everything easily."
While selecting towels, Kim Nam-joo explained, "At first, I bought them in America and washed them there, but it was cumbersome. Since America is big, it takes about an hour or an hour and a half, or 40 minutes to get to places like this. So I buy them here and wash them before sending them off."
Kim Nam-joo noted that "My daughter knows everything and orders from Amazon for school, and now she says she buys and washes it herself." She added, "Since my son's school has a navy color, I need to buy this. In the past, I embroidered 'Chan-hee' in red thread on them, but he lost them all."
