Comedienne Park Mi-sun has reportedly been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer.
According to the broadcasting industry on the 22nd, Park Mi-sun received the early diagnosis of breast cancer during a health check-up earlier this year.
Park Mi-sun has reportedly completed all scheduled radiation treatments and is continuing with medication.
As rumors about Park Mi-sun's health arose, her husband, comedian Lee Bong-won, mentioned during the MBC 'Radio Star' in June that she is "receiving good treatment and resting," adding that she is "properly recharging during this time."
Comedienne Jo Hye-ryeon also appeared on MBC Radio's 'You and Me at Two' on the 18th and said, "People are curious about Mi-sun's recent situation; I pray for her every day without fail."
Comedienne Lee Kyung-sil also expressed her wishes for Park Mi-sun's recovery through social media, saying, "I made watermelon pickles to share with my younger sister. I really want to see her. Many people are praying for her. I hope she doesn't feel lonely and just focuses on her health."
Park Mi-sun debuted as a comedienne in 1988 through MBC's public recruitment program and married KBS public recruitment comedian Lee Bong-won in 1993, giving birth to one son and one daughter.
