Comedian Go Myung Hwan expressed his desire to strengthen his friendship with Kim Jong Kook and Joo Woo Jae on 'Problem Child in House.'
In the KBS2TV variety show 'Problem Child in House' aired on the 21st, Go Myung Hwan appeared as the most successful individual. Regarding the keyword 'success,' Kim Jong Kook noted, 'The most successful person around me is Yoo Jae Suk.' He also mentioned, 'He was someone who was hosting my fan meeting. I still remember the moment after my fan meeting when I saw him bowing to receive an envelope from my boss.' This made Hong Jin Kyung and Song Eun Yi represent Yoo Jae Suk.
Go Myung Hwan remarked, 'I am a comedian, a movie actor, a best seller, a lecturer, I am Go Myung Hwan,' as he appeared. Hong Jin Kyung greeted him warmly, saying, 'I know you are busy, but it's been a while since I saw you on a variety show.'
Marking his 30th year since debut and being a KBS public recruitment comedian, he revealed that this was his first appearance on a KBS variety show. He mentioned that he had been engaged in multiple activities as a comedian, but there was an incident that became a turning point in his life: a traffic accident. Go Myung Hwan stated, 'At that time, when I faced death, my body realized it. I had a cerebral hemorrhage and blood in my heart. However, I heard that others who were smaller than me at that hospital had died. It is said that when the heart bursts, consciousness disappears in 0.01 seconds.' He added, 'They said they had done everything they could in the hospital. What was left was self-healing. But such cases were almost nonexistent. So, I made my will and was just waiting in the intensive care unit to die.'
Surviving through miracles, he stated that wealth, honor, and dreams were all meaningless in front of death. The only thing that remained was his love for his mother, and he mentioned that he was able to express what he had not been able to before.
Go Myung Hwan, who shared the K Book award last year with Han Kang, the first Asian Nobel Prize in Literature laureate, said he discovered his life as a writer in the face of death.
Go Myung Hwan said, 'I was 34 years old, and it was very unfair that I couldn't express what was inside me and died. I realized that I had only lived with my own will for four months.' He continued, 'I entered as the head of the marketing team at *Ok. I thought I had to do something, and I jumped in. The qualification conditions fit me too. Then I performed a few night stages with Park Myung Soo. I used to sleep for 2 and a half hours. After that, I realized after the traffic accident that my hard work had led me in the wrong direction. I had only chased after money.'
Now a successful businessman, Go Myung Hwan has also achieved success in investment. Kim Jong Kook expressed envy, stating, 'I envy Go Myung Hwan's investment success. I don't know much about investment.' Go Myung Hwan shared, 'With real estate, I applied for housing when I was dating each of my girlfriends, for 8 years, 5 years, and so on. I was applying for an apartment to live with them. Park Myung Soo taught me.' He then offered an unexpected tip. Afterwards, Go Myung Hwan shared the 200,000 won he won from a quiz, giving 100,000 won each to Joo Woo Jae and Kim Jong Kook while asking for friendship. He declared, 'I will give the 200,000 won I won from the quiz 100,000 each to Kim Jong Kook and Joo Woo Jae. Others are comedian juniors, and I give this to foster connections.'
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook has been captivating attention by revealing that he will hold a modest wedding ceremony in early September, inviting close friends and relatives.
