Kim Kang-woo married in 2010 after an 8-year relationship, marking their 15th anniversary this year. He revealed, "I have spent almost half of my 47-year life with my wife," showcasing his deep affection. He then publicly shared a letter he wrote, saying, "I dedicate this to my best friend and wife, who has spent an amazing 23 years with me," evoking a warm atmosphere.
Kim Kang-woo is also known for enjoying writing letters regularly. He said, "I used to be blunt and couldn't express myself well in words, but I can convey my true feelings 120% in writing," adding, "I make sure to write 3 to 4 letters a year. I think I have written at least 100 letters over 23 years." He took out a densely written letter and joked, "I only get replies about 1/4 of the time from my wife." He also shared an episode about a card he received from her on Christmas that had the same design the following year, smiling as he recalled, "It was a pack of five cards. I thought my wife was easygoing, so I let it slide."
He was also candid about marital arguments. Kim Kang-woo said, "How can people not fight? We also have our disagreements," but he emphasized, "However, we always reconcile on the same day. Above all, we try to show our children that we make up in front of them," conveying a warm family atmosphere. He added, "We even hug or kiss in front of the kids to make up," which drew laughter from the studio.
He is also educating his two sons about being 'loveable.' Kim Kang-woo remarked, "I tell them to never complain about side dishes to their mom. If they do, I will scold them.
