Once again, SBS's 'Try: We Become a Miracle,' which is showing miraculous rising rates, sets the stage for a whirlwind second half.
The SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Try: We Become a Miracle' (written by Lim Jin-a, directed by Jang Young-seok, hereafter 'Try') officially embarks on a journey towards a miracle of nationwide dominance along with the 'One Team Awakening' of Hanyang High School's rugby team. With the 'second half' racing towards a miracle announced, we looked at the thrilling points of tension and exhilarating points to watch in the second half.
Whether the long-time underdogs of Hanyang High School's rugby team can achieve the miracle of winning at the National Sports Festival is gathering attention. Joo Ka-ram (played by Yoon Gye-sang) noted that in order for seniors Yoon Seong-jun (played by Kim Yo-han), Oh Young-gwang (played by Kim Yi-jun), and So Myung-woo (played by Lee Su-chan) to advance to university through rugby, they must achieve victory at the national competition, and he declared 'nationwide dominance' as the goal of Hanyang High School's rugby team, stating that new recruits must come in to keep the team from being disbanded. Although they faced a disappointing result, being eliminated in the first round of the President's Cup, with the assistance of Ka-ram and the team members, Moon Woong (played by Kim Dan) overcame his tackle trauma and grew as a rugby player. The Hanyang High School rugby team has also awakened as 'One Team,' trusting each other more. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the Hanyang High School rugby team, which has solidified its determination by saying, 'Let's become a miracle,' can indeed clinch the victory at the 'National Sports Festival.'
Additionally, Ka-ram's myasthenia gravis adds tension and has emerged as an important point to watch. The myasthenia gravis that forced him to retire from the national team and go missing has recurred. In particular, respiratory failure poses a threat to his life, but Ka-ram has postponed surgery for the sake of the rugby team kids. Above all, he is hiding his illness as he could be dismissed from the rugby team's coach if the fact about his struggle with myasthenia gravis becomes known. However, in the previous eighth episode, Bang Heung-nam (played by Jeong Soon-won), the rival Aerobics Department coach and a fellow alumnus of Hanyang High School's rugby team, broke into Ka-ram's room and heightened tension with a meaningful expression while greeting him. This raises curiosity about whether Heung-nam has discovered Ka-ram's secret, as well as what impact Ka-ram's myasthenia gravis will have on the plot.
Meanwhile, many eyes are on the actions of shooting coach Bae Ji (played by Lim Se-mi). At the end of the eighth episode, ace Seo Woo-jin (played by Park Jeong-yeon) announced that she would expose the entrance exam corruption of the shooting department's director Jeon Nak-kyun (played by Lee Seong-wook), and she suffered a serious injury after being pushed down by Nak-kyun, who tried to stop her. Witnessing this, Lee Ji obstructed Nak-kyun's way, encountering a desperate moment to overcome her injuries as a coach. Expectations are growing regarding whether Lee Ji, who has awakened as Woo-jin's mentor, can protect Woo-jin from Nak-kyun, who seeks to manipulate the students' futures as he wishes.
