Singer Min Ji-woon shared her thoughts on releasing her first EP.
On the afternoon of the 21st, Min Ji-woon held a showcase to celebrate the release of her first EP, "Pink, then grey" at the Cinecity MCUBE in Cheongdam, Gangnam, Seoul, where she discussed her new album.
Min Ji-woon, the first artist of SM Entertainment's contemporary R&B label KRUCIALIZE, is an emerging R&B singer-songwriter with an attractive voice and outstanding songwriting skills.
Having debuted in October last year and released three singles, Min Ji-woon is set to release her first EP on the 22nd. She noted, "I had dreamed of releasing an EP even before my debut, so it feels refreshing to finally prepare it and release it. It's exciting to present this in front of so many people and reminds me of all the hard work that went into it."
Min Ji-woon's album "Pink, then grey" captures the flow of colors from 'Pink' to 'Grey,' naturally reflecting the beginning and end of love, as well as the emotional growth that comes with it.
Comprising a total of six tracks, this album showcases Min Ji-woon's talents as she participated in writing and composing all the songs. She explained, "As it is my first EP, I wanted to convey my sincerity through the songs I wrote. The album title expresses the beginning and end of love through colors. At first, it's as exciting and fluffy as pink, but as time goes by, it disperses into a monochrome state, which I tried to express through the six tracks."
