Actor Ko Kyung-pyo proves his presence on screen.
Ko Kyung-pyo is scheduled to meet with audiences through various activities, including a red carpet event, stage greeting, and audience conversation (GV), as part of the official selection 'Maze' in the 'Vision' section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), which opens on the 17th of next month.
The Busan International Film Festival, which marks its 30th anniversary this year, is introducing fresh perspectives by expanding and reorganizing the 'Vision' section, with Ko Kyung-pyo's film 'Maze,' in which he is involved in both production and grants, also selected as one of them.
The film 'Maze' is a psychological drama that begins with the story of a man, Young-moon (played by Ko Kyung-pyo), trapped in the cracks of life after losing his wife. It approaches the truth of the case through a private detective, Hee-mi (played by Wi Ji-won), and portrays the process of confronting the inner self that has been avoided, raising expectations for Ko Kyung-pyo's delicate and dense performance.
In particular, Ko Kyung-pyo has been deeply involved in the entire creative process of this work, participating not only as an actor but also in planning, production, and editing. His expansion from actor to creator adds a special meaning to 'Maze.'
Additionally, he recently demonstrated his presence in the original TVING variety show 'The Great Escape: The Story' and continues to showcase in-depth internal acting as an actor at this Busan International Film Festival, bridging both variety and screen.
Meanwhile, 'Maze' will have its world premiere at the 30th Busan International Film Festival, and after the film screening, Ko Kyung-pyo and director Shin-sun will take the stage for a GV.
