The title of the cover with Karina in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar Korea is 'The Super Star.' It highlights this era's icon, representing the fourth generation of female idols, who are writing the history of K-pop. The photoshoot also captured aespa's unique charm, known as 'metal taste.'
In particular, Karina's unreal beauty evoked admiration from all the staff, with almost no difference between the monitor in the shooting and the final retouched results. The naturally perfect look, which even AI would find difficult to replicate, instantly proves why she is called 'The Super Star.'
After the shooting, a candid interview followed. When asked if he had imagined what he would look like in five years, he replied, "Many things will change, but there are some parts I hope won't change. If I can work happily with the members and good people, I couldn't wish for more."
When asked how he relieves tension, he said, "Before going on stage, I always think, 'I can't do this; I want to run away.' My body shakes like a willow tree. I feel alive in those moments of tension. I can keep accepting and recognizing new emotions. When I work, I think I end up paying less attention to my feelings to work efficiently. Then I go back to myself and think, 'I still tremble like this!' (laughs)."
