The new MBC Friday-Saturday drama "Let's go to the moon," set to premiere on Sept. 19, depicts the hyper-realistic survival story of three women from dirt spoon backgrounds who dive into coin investment, unable to survive on their salaries alone. Lee Seon-bin (as Jeong Da-hae), Ra Mi-ran (as Kang Eun-sang), Jo Ah-ram (as Kim Ji-song), and Kim Young-dae (as Ham Ji-woo) are set to star as captivating and unique actors, bringing delightful laughter to viewers' homes in the fall of 2025.
In the drama, Lee Seon-bin plays Jeong Da-hae, a non-publicly recruited staff member in the promotional marketing team of Maron Confectionery. Due to her lack of notable qualifications, Da-hae is one of the few non-public recruits in the company. Despite the precarious employment environment, meager salary, and implicit discrimination against publicly recruited employees, she possesses tenacious resilience. Driven by a singular desire to "earn money!", Da-hae, who had been enduring a joyless work life, boards the coin train with hope after a proposal from her colleague Eun-sang (played by Ra Mi-ran).
Meanwhile, the first still cut of Lee Seon-bin from "Let's go to the moon" has been released, drawing attention. Sitting in an interview room dressed in a neat suit, Da-hae displays a firm determination to root herself in the company, wearing a capitalist smile. Her squished, humorous, and sad appearance in a packed morning bus evokes a sense of sorrow. In the last photo, where she seems to be sweating and watching her surroundings, the hardships of an office worker facing unexpected situations dozens of times a day are vividly portrayed.
Lee Seon-bin realistically portrays the dirt spoon office worker Jeong Da-hae, who endures with a simple yet desperate desire to "earn money," forming a strong sense of empathy through just the still cuts. Expectations are rising for Lee Seon-bin's dynamic performance, which showcases perfect character assimilation from her first appearance.
