Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst shared a terrifying moment she experienced due to her young son's health issues.
Dunst recalled in a recent interview with the U.S. magazine Town & Country, "While filming The Entertainment System Is Down in Budapest, Hungary, my 4-year-old son James's health rapidly deteriorated," reflecting on the situation at the time. He did not disclose the specific illness, but noted, "It was a really incredibly scary time," adding, "Fortunately, everything is okay now."
Due to the situation at the time, her husband, actor Jesse Plemons, took care of their son while she continued filming alone. He said, "As a mother, it made me think of the worst possible scenarios. It felt like a scene from a movie like Final Destination coming to life," and he added, "This experience brought our family closer together." This incident made Dunst focus more on family life in Los Angeles.
In particular, Dunst promised her son James that she would take him anywhere he wanted to go, to which James responded, "I want to go to a beach where the sandcastle won't collapse." The family is planning to go on vacation to the Bahamas soon.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons became a couple while filming the drama Fargo in 2016, got engaged in 2017, and welcomed two sons in 2018 and 2021, respectively. The couple held their wedding in Jamaica in 2022.
