"Documentary Special Edition About Time" is a segment that aired in the summer of 2015, highlighting the crew who interviewed students enjoying train travel to Tomorrow. They met two college students traveling at Andong Station and shared stories, leading to this special episode.
At that time, one friend expressed a wish to travel the same route in 10 years, and another friend agreed. The students also told the camera operator, "Please make sure to shoot the documentary. Even in 10 years," to which the camera operator responded, "Let's meet here at 7:48 a.m. on August 15, 2025." This promise was made.
The video was recently brought back into the spotlight through online communities, and even the camera operator posted the video, stating, "The day we promised 10 years ago is coming. Should we go? Or not?"
Subsequently, KBS announced through official social media, "The promise from August 15, 2015, 'Let's meet here on August 15, 2025.' Thus, we have decided to depart for that location. The story of that day 10 years ago," as they introduced the special edition.
However, ahead of the reunion at Andong Station on the 15th, the production team conducted a live broadcast, informing in real time that "A woman has reportedly arrived at the scene," but the broadcast was abruptly halted due to a report of a suspected bomb threat, leading to the reunion site being controlled by the police.
As their reunion has fallen into obscurity, the special edition is scheduled to air as planned on the 22nd. Whether the production team met the college students they promised 10 years ago or if the reunion did not happen will be confirmed tomorrow (22nd) at 10 p.m. on KBS2.
