Actress Gong Hyo-jin reported that she was scammed by an overseas online shopping mall and urged fans to be cautious.
On the 20th, Gong Hyo-jin revealed on her Instagram story, "I ordered a linen two-piece set, but they sent a polyester dress after ten days," adding, "I paid the return fee, but they said if I don't return it within 30 days, they won't refund me."
She continued, "They immediately said they would give me a 15% refund, so I didn't have to return it, asking, 'Can't you keep it?' When I got angry, they said they would refund more." She shared her shocking experience.
She noted, "Be cautious when ordering from such sites. This product never existed from the start. I am sharing this so that no one else experiences the stress I had."
The accompanying photos show the detailed page of the linen two-piece set ordered by Gong Hyo-jin alongside the actual polyester dress that was delivered. The material and design are completely different from the original product, suggesting this is more than just a simple shipping error; it appears to be a fraudulent transaction.
Meanwhile, Gong Hyo-jin married singer Kevin Oh in 2022 and is currently staying in New York City. He is about to release the film 'Neighbors,' directed by Ha Jung-woo, which depicts the chaos that ensues when a couple has dinner together over noise complaints.
