ILLIT will take the stage at Japan's largest fashion festival for the second consecutive year.
According to their agency Belift Lab on the 21st, ILLIT (Yoona, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) will perform as the main artist at the "41st Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER" (hereafter "TGC") to be held at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on the 6th of next month.
The "TGC", which started in 2005, is regarded as a representative festival in Japan that encompasses fashion and music. ILLIT's local popularity can be seen as they join the lineup alongside top models and artists in Japan. ILLIT said, "We are really happy and honored to have the opportunity to perform at such a grand festival as the 'TGC'. We will deliver the best stage that can convey positive energy to many people."
ILLIT is striking a chord with the global 1020 generation with their music and fashion infused with their unique trendy charm. They gained attention early in the fashion industry, being invited to perform at another major festival in Japan, the "Rakuten Girls Award 2024 SPRING/SUMMER", last May. This year, they are set to hit the "TGC" and showcase their presence as trend icons.
ILLIT will announce their first single in Japan, "Toki Yo Tomare" (original title 時よ止まれ/토키 요 토마레), on the 1st of next month. The pre-released song "Topping" unveiled on the 11th has entered the top ranks of the AWA music rising chart immediately upon release and is attracting attention from local fans by reaching 3rd place on the Spotify Japan rising daily chart (as of Aug. 14).
ILLIT will meet local fans by taking the stage at various events after their debut in Japan. They will hold a fan concert titled "2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN JAPAN" at Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka on September 3-4. They will perform at the "TGC" on September 6, and will energize the upcoming large music festival in Japan, the "Rock in Japan Festival 2025", on September 14.
