Global girl group KATSEYE will take the stage at the Grammy Museum in the United States.
HYBE and Geffen Records announced on the 21st (local time) that "KATSEYE will participate in a special program at the Ray Charles rooftop terrace of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on September 18."
The Grammy Museum, which showcases the history of Grammy Award winners and musical history, signifies that a performance here means an artist is recognized for their global influence and popularity.
KATSEYE is expected to introduce the production process of their second EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS", released in June, and share the team's growth story, along with delivering a powerful performance. It is anticipated to be a meaningful time, sharing their musical journey while engaging directly with the audience, going beyond a simple performance.
The Grammy Museum noted about KATSEYE, "They are not simply breaking the mold, but creating their own. They are a girl group born from the high standards and rigorous training of the K-pop system, but they have a clear goal of breaking cultural and creative boundaries."
In fact, KATSEYE is the girl group that debuted in the United States through the global audition project "The Debut: Dream Academy" jointly planned by HYBE and Geffen Records. They rapidly established themselves as the 'next-generation pop icons' and drew significant media attention by attracting tens of thousands of spectators at Lollapalooza Chicago on the 3rd and Summer Sonic 2025 in Japan on the 17th.
KATSEYE is achieving remarkable results on major global music charts. Their new release "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" reached 4th place on the Billboard 200 album chart (dated July 12), and the tracks "Gabriela" and "Gnarly" both entered the Hot 100 main song chart. In particular, "Gabriela" re-entered the latest Billboard chart (dated August 23) at 76, setting a new record for the team.
On Spotify, KATSEYE surpassed 1 billion combined streams in just over a year since their debut, recording 25,175,911 monthly listeners from July 17 to August 13. They also exceeded 10 million followers on TikTok.
KATSEYE is evaluated as a group that creates a variety of colors with its six members (Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae) who have different cultures and backgrounds. Based on their unique vocal and performance styles, they are expanding their global influence and are cited as a successful example of HYBE's 'K-pop production system' globalization.
KATSEYE's popularity and status are rising day by day in the global market beyond the United States. All members have been invited to become voting members of the Recording Academy®, which administers the Grammy Awards. Voting members gain the qualification to participate in the Grammy award selection process.
