Former group 4Minute member Heo Ga-yoon candidly shared her feelings about leaving Korea and settling in Bali.
On the 17th, a video titled 'The reason I left to Bali after quitting being an idol (4Minute Heo Ga-yoon - to put it honestly)' was released on the YouTube channel 'ch. Yeom Mi-sol.'
Heo Ga-yoon, who returned as a writer after publishing her essay 'I became more myself in the most unfamiliar sea' on the 28th of last month, said, "I am not living in Korea right now; I am living in Bali. I think it has been about two years now," adding, "When I was going through a tough time, the member (Jeon) Ji-yoon told me, 'You should go out and take a break during times like this,' and so my mind and spirit just followed. It was so nice at that time that I've been living here ever since."
Heo Ga-yoon noted, "Before that, I had my own symptoms that I was experiencing, but they miraculously disappeared. I slept really well near the end of the trip. It had been such a long time, and I liked it so much that I did a second two-month stay in Bali. I wanted to know if it was because I was comfortable in Bali that these symptoms disappeared, so I experimented, and it was amazing that the symptoms that had not disappeared despite my efforts for years did go away."
"So, at the end of my two-month stay, I made up my mind that I have to live here and went back to Korea. As soon as I returned to Korea, I called the agency and asked to terminate my exclusive contract, and they happily agreed to terminate it."
