As speculation grows about actor Kim Nam-gil's transfer to Galaxy Corporation, his agency has denied the rumors, saying, "It is not true."

Earlier in the day, a media outlet reported that Galaxy Corporation, which is affiliated with G-Dragon, had held exclusive meetings with actors including Kim Nam-gil, Ji Chang-wook, Seolhyun, and Na In-woo, among others, and that some of these actors had decided to transfer.
Kim Nam-gil established the comprehensive entertainment company 'Kill Story Entertainment' in 2021 in collaboration with Han Jae-deok, the representative of Sanair Pictures, and embarked on an independent path. At that time, he mentioned, "I plan to be active in various fields together with Kill Story Entertainment" and that, in the future, he would gradually recruit artists from various fields to expand management as well as artist-centered IP businesses.
Since then, Kill Story Entertainment has expanded its size by signing exclusive contracts with Lee Hyun-wook, Sung-joon, No Ah-jin, and others, while Kim Nam-gil has been actively involved in films such as 'Emergency Declaration,' 'The Protector,' and dramas like 'Those Who Read the Minds of Evil,' 'Island,' 'The Fiery Priest 2,' and 'Trigger.'
Meanwhile, recently in the broadcast industry, speculation about Kim Nam-gil's transfer to Galaxy Corporation has surfaced. Galaxy Corporation, established in August 2019, is a media studio that has expanded its scope from IP development and licensing to content production, management, and commerce. In 2023, it signed an exclusive contract with Big Bang's G-Dragon and has been working on establishing an 'AI Entertainment Research Center' in partnership with KAIST, focusing on integrating AI technology and the metaverse into the entertainment industry.
In particular, on the 14th, it was announced that Song Kang-ho was recruited as their first actor, and there is significant interest in the second actor, with Kim Nam-gil being mentioned as a candidate for 'Galaxy's second actor.' However, a representative from Kill Story Entertainment clarified to OSEN, saying, "That will not happen," thus dispelling the transfer rumors.
