This episode includes a 'local field trip - Daegu edition,' where the hosts are going on a national tour with local residents. Until now, 'Homes' has generated interest by visiting very special local field trips with the natives of each city. This trip will see Kim Min-kyung, the daughter of Daegu, going on a local field trip with Kim Suk.
Kim Min-kyung and Kim Suk head to Beomeo 4-dong, an area dense with academies in Daegu. During filming, Kim Suk asks her middle school fans who greet her if they know who she is. The middle school fans respond with 'Kim Hae-sook,' leaving Kim Suk flustered. When Kim Suk asks where they saw her, the fans say they saw her on 'Knowing Bros,' and Kim Suk humorously remarks, 'You might confuse me with Mr. Jun Hyun-moo from 'Knowing Bros.'
The place they visit for the field trip is a single-family dwelling located near Gyeongshin High School, known as one of the prestigious high schools in Daegu, just a one-minute walk from the back gate of the school. It was remodeled five years ago, featuring a white-toned spacious living room and a high ceiling in the shape of a gabled roof, adding to the open feel.
Next, they introduce an APT. located near the baseball stadium, which served as the home ground for the 'Lions' for 34 years. It used to be referred to as the 'baseball player apartment' area. The white-toned living room and kitchen were impeccable, and the small room's window provided a stunning view of both the baseball and soccer fields.
Kim Min-kyung and Kim Suk embark on a culinary check in Daegu. Moving to a longtime favorite restaurant of local Kim Min-kyung, the two enjoy Daegu's specialties 'Mung-tigi' and 'Odeuraegi' while showcasing a food broadcast. After finishing their meal, Kim Min-kyung tempts Kim Suk, saying, "Since we came to Daegu, we can't miss out on spicy pork ribs," causing surprise among everyone. In response, Joo Woo-jae quips that "Homes is a show about looking at houses," but Kim Min-kyung retorts, "Restaurants are also homes," bringing laughter to the studio.
After completing their culinary check, the two visit an abandoned quarry located in Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun, Daegu. Kim Min-kyung introduces this place as an emerging attraction in Daegu. It is particularly heating up social media as a dating spot. Upon discovering an emerald-colored reservoir, the two exclaim in admiration, and Kim Min-kyung remarks, "It feels like I'm in Zhangjiajie, China."
Regarding the abandoned quarry that has been neglected for over 10 years, the 'Homes' coordinators offer various ideas for how it could be utilized, heightening curiosity.
