BOYNEXTDOOR topped the Oricon chart in Japan with a new song.
According to the Oricon chart released on the 20th, BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Ryu, Myungjae-hyun, Taesan, Ihan, Unhak)'s second Japanese single "BOYLIFE" rose to number one on the 'Daily Single Ranking' for the 19th.
The song "Count To Love," released on the 18th, also reached number one on the Japanese iTunes 'Top Songs' (as of August 19). The music video for the song proved to garner high interest by topping the Japanese iTunes 'Top Videos' (as of August 18) and the daily music video top 100 of the major music streaming site Line Music (as of August 19). The single "BOYLIFE" began to sail smoothly by reaching number one on the Japanese iTunes 'Top Albums' (as of August 18) immediately after its release.
"BOYLIFE" is an album that expresses the love of youth, bold charm, and unrestrained confidence. It includes a total of four songs: the original Japanese title track "Count To Love," and the Japanese versions of "I Feel Good," "Nice Guy," and "Parents Not Allowed" released in Korea.
"Count To Love" is a love song that anyone can widely relate to. BOYNEXTDOOR's unique vivid lyrics add to the listening pleasure with a cheerful melody. In particular, Taesan participated in the writing and composing, embedding the team's character into the song.
BOYNEXTDOOR will hold a showcase at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo, Japan, on the 21st to celebrate the release of their second single, and they are set to appear on various local music broadcasts and entertainment shows, including TBS "CDTV LIVE! LIVE!" on September 1.
