Group Mamamoo's Moonbyul has returned with a more mature musical color.
On the 20th at 6 p.m., Moonbyul released the full tracks of her mini album 'laundri' along with the music video for the title track 'Goodbyes and Sad Eyes' on various music streaming platforms.
Moonbyul, who has made a comeback nearly a year after the release of her repackaged album 'Starlit of Twinkle: REPACKAGE' in August last year, showcased her growth and evolution as a solo artist by adding a new musical change to her unique vibrant and confident charm.
The title of this album 'laundri' was created by changing the last letter 'y' of the word 'Laundry,' meaning laundry, to 'i.' The concept is to capture the various emotions experienced in love, similar to a washing machine's customized course, in eight tracks. Like the cozy scent that spreads after laundry is done, the album is expected to leave a warm resonance.
Moonbyul participated in the lyrics and composition of the album tracks 'Cotton,' 'Over You,' and '이륙 (Take-off),' and also contributed to the lyrics of 'Da Capo,' 'Chocolate Tea,' and 'ICY BBY,' actively participating in the overall production of the album. Through this, she has further solidified her own unique musical world.
The title track 'Goodbyes and Sad Eyes' is a song that features a lively guitar riff and drums with a band sound. Moonbyul's charming voice, layered over a solid beat woven with tension and depth, uniquely expresses the lightness after a breakup. The choreography is set to be completed by Jrick, who is participating as the performance director, creating a powerful yet kitschy stage.

The music video released simultaneously captures Moonbyul feeling a sense of liberation after activating the emotional washing machine. It expresses the process of emptying her feelings while sorting through items with her ex-lover, ultimately leading to a sense of freedom.
Continuing her consistent music activities, Moonbyul proved her outstanding abilities not only in vocals, rap, and performance but also in songwriting and composition through this album. 'laundri' is expected to establish itself as another well-made album showcasing her musical growth.
