Comedian Kang Jae-jun and Lee Eun-hyung's son visited the emergency room for his first birthday celebration.
On 19th, a video titled "{Parenting Log} Don't be sick, Hyun-jo!ㅠㅠㅠ" was uploaded on the "Giyu TV" channel.
On that day, Lee Eun-hyung said, "I can't even think of what to say. Hyun-jo is currently going to the university hospital emergency room. I also still haven't recovered from my cold. Hyun-jo has been suffering from gastroenteritis for two weeks, and this morning he had blood in his urine. I saw a slightly cola-colored blood in the urine, and since they suspected dehydration, we received a diagnosis certificate and are going to the university hospital. It seems he needs to be examined there."
He looked at Hyun-jo, who was being fussy, and said, "This morning, he drank milk and vomited, and he vomited last night as well. Please sleep a bit until we arrive at the hospital, Hyun-jo," expressing his concern. He continued, "You need to drink water. That way, you won't become dehydrated," as he handed over water, saying, "Hyun-jo is really having a proper first birthday celebration. But his face looks better than before. Just now, he really looked like his eyes were sunken and he was weak. He seemed like he was about to collapse. I heard there are three children's emergency rooms in Seoul. Seoul National University Hospital, Samsung Medical Center, and Asan Medical Center (I heard there's also Yonsei Severance Hospital). So, we're planning to go to the closest one, Seoul National University Hospital," he said, adding, "It's surprising that he hasn't been sick even once in a year. He's really having a proper birthday celebration. It's spectacular."
After going to the emergency room, Hyun-jo received intravenous fluids and fell asleep. Kang Jae-jun said, "Hyun-jo is currently receiving IV fluids. Oh dear... what to do... he's getting IV fluids," and lamented, "The IV bag is bigger than our Hyun-jo... Poor Hyun-jo..." He stated, "Hyun-jo is really sick. He's getting blood tests and two IV fluids. This little one..." his voice choked up, and he kept saying, "Oh, how pitiful... it hurts so much. Please get better quickly, really, I beg you."
He mentioned, "I feel like if I put him down, he will cry, so even though there's a bed, I want to keep holding him," as he cradled Hyun-jo to sleep, saying, "Poor thing. It reminds me of the time he had stomach pains during midnight feedings."
After receiving IV fluids and safely returning home, Hyun-jo ate and, by the afternoon, was completely recovered, providing relief. Lee Eun-hyung said, "Hyun-jo has now fully recovered and drinks all 300ml of milk. He doesn't have diarrhea anymore. I need to make up for the 1kg he lost," she stated. Kang Jae-jun also expressed, "Don't be sick. I really don't want to see him sick again, especially seeing him get the IV needle at Seoul National University Hospital. I don't think I'll want to see that again. It breaks my heart."
Lee Eun-hyung said, "Gain some weight, Hyun-jo; you're too thin," and Kang Jae-jun replied, "After Hyun-jo got sick, his lower body lost some weight, but now he's gaining weight back and getting chubby again."
Meanwhile, Kang Jae-jun and Lee Eun-hyung got married in 2017 and through natural conception welcomed their son Hyun-jo in August of last year.
