Singer K.Will recalled the difficult memories of his debut.
On the 20th, a video titled "An episode-type human who never stops rambling; The Name's 17-year-old exposure party | Today's rambling" was released on K.Will's YouTube channel 'Hyungsu is K.Will.'
The video featured The Name, a 23-year veteran singer and producer who is now a director at Starship Entertainment. The relationship between The Name and K.Will has been revealed to be one where they have known each other for an astonishing 17 out of K.Will's 18 years since debut.
The Name, who lost 25 kg through diet management and other measures, explained the connection with K.Will, saying, "At the time of K.Will's first album 'Left Chest,' there was no interaction, but the bond began when I participated in the producing of 'Tears Drop.'" He continued, "I don't remember the day we first met well, but I remember everything from then on."
K.Will reflected, "The real hardest time in my life was in 2008. At that time, I didn't earn a penny. It was a period where I endured by spending all the money I had while preparing for my debut. The company was struggling, I was scammed out of my monthly rental deposit, and I was dumped by my girlfriend. It was a tough time, but it was when I met The Name."
He continued, "The Name is a tough guy. When I asked him something, instead of being affectionate, he taught me how to endure calmly. He even drank with me until the day before he enlisted and supported me."
In response, The Name said, "K.Will actually had a lot of worries. In a moment when nothing was set and everything felt hopeless, I couldn't give him anything, so I encouraged him by saying, 'It will be fine' and enlisted. I was a public service worker, and after 4 weeks of training, the first thing I saw was K.Will ranking 2nd on the music chart with 'LOVE 119.' I was sincerely happy to see that after just 4 weeks."
