Actress Choi Yoon-ji has emerged as the next-generation youth icon, elevating the excitement level to its peak in the drama 'First, For Love.'
Choi Yoon-ji played the role of Lee Hyori in the 6th episode of the tvN drama 'First, For Love' (directed by Yoo Je-won, scripted by Seong Woo-jin, planned and produced by Studio Dragon and Showrunners), which aired on the 19th, showcasing her strong yet sincere presence as a young person starting a new life in Cheongha to overcome illness.
Suddenly collapsing, Hyori, as soon as she opened her eyes, worried about her surprised mother (played by Yum Jung-ah) and unexpectedly, through the help of her grandmother (played by Kim Mi-kyung) in the hospital, conveyed her gratitude and provided warm energy like family.
From the hospital, Hyori subtly recalled Bo-hyun (played by Kim Min-kyu) and attended the birthday party to meet him, instantly capturing attention with her doll-like visuals. Although she felt despondent hearing Bo-hyun's pity at the party, she remembered her family motto, 'I will face whatever I want,' and regained her smile.
Hyori, running in the rain with Bo-hyun, added a happy smile to the freshness of youth. In a quiet yet thrilling atmosphere, she boldly confessed, 'I think I like you,' maximizing the romantic tension and leaving viewers breathless.
In the confession scene of Hyori, Choi Yoon-ji heightened viewers' excitement to its peak with a slightly damp hairstyle and pure visuals, delivering sincere lines that captured deep emotions. With her expressive eyes conveying feelings over visuals and words, and sweet chemistry with her counterpart, she naturally led the young romance in a perfect three-part harmony, garnering ongoing acclaim for her character.
'First, For Love' airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. on tvN.
