New actor Morgan Who has been cast in the short drama 'Half of Me', exclusively available on TVING, marking his first leading role.
'Half of Me', based on the web novel of the same name, features a unique body change setting where day and night swap. Thirty-year-old businessman 'Kwon Hee-chan' starts a bizarre double life after a traffic accident, becoming high school student 'Kim Taek-in' in the morning, and returning to his own body in the evening. With 'Kim Taek-in's' soul missing, 'Kwon Hee-chan' dives into high school life to uncover the truth. The setting that crosses the boundary between day and night creates tension, and the delicate emotional lines and mysterious developments raise expectations.
In the drama, Morgan Who plays the role of Woo Min-jae. He is 'Hee-chan's' high school classmate and a physical education teacher at the school attended by 'Taek-in', secretly having loved Hee-chan since school days. He was once an athlete but retired due to an injury, and although he has a calm and rational personality, he shows a more honest side in front of Hee-chan. Notably, he displays a slightly scheming character, demanding honorific language as a price for helping to resolve the body change or tutoring alone every day under the pretext of studying.
This work is a total of 51 episodes of a short drama, exclusively released through the TVING mobile app on Aug. 18. Directed by Jeong Ah-reum and written by Park Ji-eun, it was produced by the comprehensive content IP holding startup 'DIO'.
Morgan Who noted, 'I'm excited and nervous to be the first lead. I will work hard to express Woo Min-jae's multi-layered charm so that viewers can get immersed in the character.'
