The film 'Crayon Shin-chan' (directed by Jeong-woo, Oh Seong-ho) will meet global audiences in Busan.
According to Fan entertainment (068050) on the 20th, 'Crayon Shin-chan' has been selected for the 'Today's Korean Cinema - Special Premiere' at the 30th Busan International Film Festival. The movie, which initially announced its departure under the working title 'Audition 109', is set to debut in Busan under the name 'Crayon Shin-chan'.
'Today's Korean Cinema - Special Premiere' is a section that presents the latest commercial Korean films with special popular appeal and status, showcasing noteworthy works that attract the attention of audiences each year.
'Crayon Shin-chan' depicts the story following the film 'Wind', which captured attention upon its release in 2009. It is expected to portray the growth story of 'Crayon Shin-chan', who went to study in Seoul with dreams of becoming a movie star, from a lively perspective.
Particularly, actor Jeong-woo, who is also the original creator of 'Wind', is drawing attention as this is his first directing work for which he wrote the screenplay. Oh Seong-ho, who won three awards at the 2021 Busan International Film Festival for 'That Winter, the Wind Blows', is co-directing, raising expectations.
