Webtoon artist 'Imalnyeon,' who transformed into 'popular YouTuber' Chimchakman, will reveal an episode of his chaotic cohabitation with his close friend Kian84 on 'Radio Star.'
The episode airing today (20th) on MBC 'Radio Star' (planned by Kang Young-seon / directed by Hwang Yoon-sang, Byun Da-hee) features Lee Sedol, Kim Hee-cheol, Chimchakman, and Napoli Mafia in a special 'An Chimchakman' segment.
In a pre-recorded segment released before the broadcast, Chimchakman revealed the story of how he cohabited with his close friend Kian84 in the past. He said that after meeting Kian84, who was experiencing a slump during a gathering, they decided to share a workspace for new ideas. In response, Kim Gu-ra was surprised by their fateful (?) meeting, saying, 'That's how Gauguin and Van Gogh met too.'
Chimchakman and Kian84, who lived respectively in Ansan and Suwon, began cohabitating by serendipity after agreeing to prepare a semi-basement workspace and residence in Hongdae due to the distance between them. Chimchakman then shared his struggles during the cohabitation with Kian84. While Kian84 is extroverted and enjoys being around people, Chimchakman preferred to be alone.
Chimchakman also shared episodes that arose from their opposing personalities. He noted, 'When I entered the room, it meant I wanted to be alone, but he kept coming in.' This statement led to laughter as he imitated Kian84's funny impressions while entering his room. Additionally, he mentioned, 'Even when Kian84 was sleeping, he slyly brought his blanket and asked, 'Can I sleep next to you?'' which surprised everyone.
Chimchakman continued, 'Kian84, our esteemed author, loves people and feels lonely.' He explained that Kian84's works at the time were also about human relationships and loneliness. After getting married and moving out, Chimchakman joked that Kian84 once thought, 'Hyung, you got married because you didn't want to live with me?' showcasing their unique and deep friendship.
