Mnet's 'Show Me the Money' is the first hip-hop survival program in Korea, continuing the legacy of popularizing hip-hop in the country, and it holds the record for the most seasons of any survival program in South Korea. It has not only produced numerous star rappers such as Loco, Bobby, BewhY, and Lil Boy, establishing itself as 'the gateway for rappers,' but it has also created hit songs and various catchphrases each season, proving its widespread popularity across the nation.
The teaser video released on the 20th revealed a revamped first round audition format, generating excitement. The announcement of global auditions, in addition to regional preliminaries in four areas of the country, signals a larger scale for this season. The first round audition, which was previously conducted in a single region, will now be subdivided into key areas nationwide, meeting participants face-to-face in cities such as Seoul, Gwangju, Busan, and Jeju.
