Sunwoo Yongyeo confessed to having been a victim of a past savings fraud.
On the 20th, a video titled "First public release of Sunwoo Yongyeo's son's feng shui house in LA (+ savings fraud, kimchi stew)" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Sunpoong Sunwoo Yongyeo.'
In the released video, Sunwoo Yongyeo, who was experiencing her third morning in LA, is shown visiting the mansion where her son resides, where she recalled, "At first, I lived in an APT. with my husband. So the two of them slept together until they were in high school."
Later, as Sunwoo Yongyeo headed to Korea, she said, "My husband followed me. He wasn't around with them. But I still felt a bit sad. My daughter told me, 'Now for fun, I'm going to act (in Korea).' At that moment, I felt a bit sad because I thought, 'They don't need their mom.'"
In response, her daughter, Choi Yeonje, explained, "But it was a situation that couldn't be helped. The restaurant went completely bankrupt," while Sunwoo Yongyeo also lamented, "It wasn't that it went bankrupt; it was taken away," referring to the restaurant they had operated that was seized by the landlord.
In particular, her daughter revealed the pain Sunwoo Yongyeo had experienced, stating, "When mom was running the restaurant, I worked there. Back then, she had a connection but was defrauded. Once while driving, I heard her exclaim 'Aah!' She was so shocked that she couldn't get out of bed for months."
"The person was someone she trusted, and it wasn't just her alone. Dad also searched for that person. The important thing is that they said he was completely penniless," Sunwoo Yongyeo added, "I had even visited that house. They lived in a 14-pyeong house with four kids. So I said, 'You know my face? Contact me anytime you make money.' That was the end of it. At that time, I thought, 'I shouldn't get involved in such things,' and I studied hard," she said, shedding tears.
Meanwhile, her daughter stated, "The reason I'm saying this is because it's heartbreaking for a child to see their mother struggling in the kitchen. I'm really happy to see mom acting again in Korea. I've realized that she has a calling."
