Chinese action star Jet Li (62) directly informed fans about his hospitalization due to health issues, raising their concerns.
Jet Li recently shared a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed and a video being transported on a stretcher through his Weibo and Douyin account, stating, "I have gone through an unexpected trial." In the video, he appeared gaunt and with a serious expression, causing concern among fans.
However, he did not forget his characteristic humor. He joked about the situation, saying, "There was a problem with the hardware, so I went to the factory to get it repaired." He then shared a photo of himself eating noodles after his discharge, saying, "I have left the factory. I am eating something delicious. I hope everyone is healthy and happy," reassuring his fans.
According to local Chinese media, his health is recovering without major issues, and a close associate noted, "It was only a small malignant tumor, and the surgery is complete. He will be fine soon."
Jet Li has been battling health issues consistently since he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in 2010, and he suffered from spinal and leg injuries while performing action scenes, even receiving a Grade 3 disability assessment from the Chinese government at one point. As a result, rumors of his 'death' circulated online, but he has consistently rejected these through his social media and updates.
