My Troublesome Star star Jang Da-ah shone from the very first broadcast.
In the original Genie TV drama 'My Troublesome Star' (directed by Choi Young-hoon, written by Park Ji-ha, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Jumbo Film and Studio BOM), which premiered on the 18th, Jang Da-ah played the role of 'Lim Se-ra', a top star from 25 years ago and the past of Bong Cheong-ja (played by Uhm Jung-hwa). He made a strong first appearance, decorated with a look that dominated TV and billboards like the best star of the time.
Jang Da-ah captivated attention by boldly portraying Se-ra, who cannot tolerate injustice. Crying bitterly, she confided to Dokgo-cheol, saying, "I'm also a person... You think I'm nothing, right?" and, after receiving his warm comfort, resolved to attend the police investigation, surprising everyone.
Finally, Jang Da-ah delivered a sweet thrill through the prologue of the first meeting between Se-ra and Dokgo-cheol. After attending the investigation, Se-ra recognized she was the protagonist of the phone call upon hearing Dokgo-cheol's voice asking for an autograph. She found it cute to see Dokgo-cheol worrying about her injuries, and when he mentioned his concern because she was a suspect, she responded with a pout and stood up. The sight of Se-ra walking away with a gentle smile while leaving an amazed Dokgo-cheol behind made viewers' hearts race.
In this way, Jang Da-ah completed a high synchronization with Lim Se-ra, solidly building the story in the early part of the drama. He perfectly embodied the youth star styling of 1999 with colorful makeup and outfits, leaving a strong impact in every scene.
