The new variety show 'Where It Lands' has confirmed its first broadcast on Sept. 21 (Sun), and a teaser preview of Jonathan's debut as the first mukbang MC has been released.
Co-produced by ENA, NXT, and Comedy TV, the new variety show 'Where It Lands' (hereinafter referred to as 'WIL') is a 'no (No) casting spontaneous food tour show' that searches for life-changing restaurants solely based on relay recommendations from restaurant owners, without a set list or pre-planned itinerary.
In the midst of this, the 'WIL' team has captured a teaser preview of the youngest member Jonathan's pre-meeting, drawing attention. In the released video, Jonathan boasts his impressive career as the first domestic Del*Manju VIP (?), saying, "Eating is my happiness," and continually reciting the map of restaurants across the country while appealing to his prepared 'combat mukbang' attitude. Furthermore, Jonathan celebrates his selection as the first mukbang MC, saying, "They are going to take care of all three meals. It's like honey these days," and begins his happy circuitry. However, what he was unaware of was the production team's sinister intentions.
A thunderbolt-like remark from the production team abruptly changes the atmosphere. Revealing, "The restaurant hasn't been decided," and "We don't even know what menu we will eat in that area," the production team confirms that this is a truly spontaneous mukbang program with no predetermined restaurant, menu, or region. With the bombshell declaration from the production team that he must even arrange the casting himself, Jonathan gathers his composure and responds, "It seems a bit difficult. I'll cover the costs for what we eat," eliciting laughter. Following this, upon hearing the 'WIL' title, Jonathan quips, "Usually, the title is named like that, but the PD really doesn't know, right?" causing everyone to burst into laughter.
Can the self-proclaimed gourmet Jonathan join the 'WIL' worldview, which requires him to plan everything himself for the mukbang, and does the first broadcast of 'WIL,' which completely changes his approach to being a mukbang MC, raise expectations significantly?
The new gourmet variety show 'Where It Lands' co-produced by ENA, NXT, and Comedy TV will premiere on Sept. 21 (Sun) at 7:50 p.m.
