The members of Kep1er expressed their envy towards the snack room of 'Boys Planet 2.'
Kep1er met with OSEN at a cafe in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 14th, ahead of the release of their 7th mini album 'BUBBLE GUM' at 6 p.m. on the 19th for a comeback interview.
Kep1er's 7th mini album 'BUBBLE GUM' is a new release approximately 9 months after their sixth mini album 'TIPI-TAP,' which was released last year, showcasing the group's strengths with powerful performances and captivating voices designed to appeal to the public.
Ahead of the full comeback, member Xiaoting is participating as a master in Mnet's 'Boys Planet 2.' Having successfully debuted as a participant in 'Girls Planet,' Xiaoting has returned after three years to provide honest feedback to trainees.
This comeback stage is also open for the participants of 'Bofl2' to see. In response to a question about whether she feels burden as a master, Xiaoting said, "Four years ago, I stood on stage as a participant, and now standing on stage as a master, it feels very surreal. At first, I thought, 'I can also sit in the judging seat,' and watching the participants made me feel like I've grown too."
She continued, "Speaking to the participants can either lower or raise their confidence, so it was difficult in that regard. I think being aware of the situation and the feelings makes me more careful in my evaluations. Nevertheless, I had to evaluate accurately, which was challenging."
In particular, Xiaoting is focusing solely on Kep1er activities as her contract with her Chinese agency expired this year. When asked about her mindset for the team album she is presenting for the first time after the contract ended, she revealed, "Honestly, my mindset hasn't changed. I always work hard during every comeback. Everyone works hard for a good result, so I just did my best without any particular thoughts. I hope the fans can love it a lot."
The members also seem to have special feelings about watching 'Boys Planet 2' while active. Dayeon said, "First of all, when I watched the video, it felt really strange. It felt like I had returned to that time," and added, "I feel motivation when I see the hard-working participants. I think they will be an important stepping stone for all the participants."
Hikaru said, "I also enjoy watching 'Bofl.' However, this time, there is a snack room space. We didn't have that back then, and I feel it's become really nice," which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, Kep1er's 7th mini album 'BUBBLE GUM' will be released on the 19th at 6 p.m. through various music streaming sites.
