On the broadcast of MBC's 'Finding Homes' airing on the 21st (Thursday), comedian Kim Min-kyung will embark on a summer field trip to Daegu.
This broadcast is prepared as a 'local field trip - Daegu edition,' embarking on a national tour with a local resident. So far, 'Finding Homes' has generated buzz by visiting very special local field trips with residents from various cities. This trip will be undertaken by the daughter of Daegu, comedian Kim Min-kyung, along with Kim Sook.
Before the full-scale field trip, Kim Min-kyung, appearing in the studio, introduces herself as "comedian, soccer player, and actress Kim Min-kyung" which draws attention. She noted, "I recently took on the role of the female lead in a 50-episode comic short-form drama," revealing, "I play the role of a top agent of the National Intelligence Service who has lost her memory," earning congratulations from the coordinators.
Ahead of her field trip in Daegu, Kim Min-kyung conveys her feelings of participation, saying, "I was born in Daegu and lived there for 22 years, and my family still lives in Daegu. I will show you the hot and vibrant Daegu."
Upon arriving in Daegu with Kim Sook, Kim Min-kyung notes, "There are many famous franchises that started in Daegu," boasting about the local food right from the beginning. When Kim Sook retorts, "'Finding Homes' is not a food program. We have to introduce homes," she responds, "To make the journey home enjoyable, there should be delicious places nearby. If there are no tasty spots, it makes me feel down," eliciting laughter.
The first place the two head to is a famous tteokbokki restaurant in Daegu, where Kim Min-kyung explains, "If you're from Daegu, this is a place you must have memories of from school days." Meanwhile, upon hearing the field trip news from 'Finding Homes,' Kim Sook's long-time friend and native Daegu residents rush over. Kim Sook introduces them as 'Daegu-ers,' revealing they have lived in Daegu for 50 years.
The members of 'Daegu-ers' immediately bring forth cheerful banter and various episodes. In particular, those who boasted, "Daegu people have spicy tteokbokki to clear their stomachs," showcase "how Daegu people eat tteokbokki." They also describe local landmarks, sharing numerous episodes. Kim Sook, even as a close friend, finds herself laughing, saying she feels disoriented from the audio not being clear.
They reveal a tteokbokki restaurant located near the famous site of Suseong Lake in Daegu. It features a clean dining area and a perfect kitchen, situated near a large APT. complex and an academy district, indicating a high demand for delivery.
The regional field trip full of the red flavor of Daegu led by native resident Kim Min-kyung will be aired on MBC's 'Finding Homes' at 10 p.m. on Thursday, the 21st.
