Next, Gil-gu represents a young unemployed person who is temporarily lost and wandering, so his name carries the meaning of 'one who searches for the road', combining 'Gil' + 'gu(狗)', adding the meaning of 'road puppy'. The character Jang-soo was simply chosen to wish for a long life, whereas Ara was set to be perceptive and knowledgeable about everything.
