Trot singers Hwang Min-woo and Hwang Min-ho shared some good news.
The trot singers have confirmed their concert schedules in Daegu and Jeonju, following their first national tour concert '2025 Golden filial piety gift' in Seoul.
This tour will start with the Seoul concert on Sept. 14 at the Daeyang Hall of Sejong University, followed by performances at the Grand Hall of Yeungnam University in Daegu on Sept. 20 and the Korean Traditional Sound Culture Center in Jeonju on Oct. 18. Currently, ticket sales for the Seoul and Daegu concerts are underway, while tickets for the Jeonju concert will go on sale online at 7 p.m. on the 19th.
'2025 Golden filial piety gift' is more than just a concert; it's a moment for the two brothers to reflect on their growth through music and share it with the audience. This performance, planned with the goal of being a stage enjoyed by all generations, is designed to bring joy to mothers, create memories for fathers, and convey the meaning of filial piety to children as a 'filial piety concert.' The warm and human emotions unique to trot, combined with the brothers' heartfelt performance, are expected to resonate with everyone, regardless of age.
Hwang Min-woo, known as 'Little Psy,' firmly established himself as a trot singer through his appearance on TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2' and is loved across generations for his catchy vocal style and lively stage mannerisms.
On the other hand, Hwang Min-ho has deepened his understanding and expressiveness of the genre through steady music studies and stage experience since his debut, captivating the public with a different charm than his brother. The synergy created by these two brothers is expected to be the biggest highlight of the upcoming performance.
This national tour concert is significant as it marks the first large-scale tour undertaken by the brothers together. In addition to showcasing solo stages that highlight each brother's individuality and strengths, the program will include duet performances that showcase their chemistry, as well as interactive talks and performances with fans, allowing them to convey their musical charm and sincerity to the audience. Notably, new repertoires and direction that have not been seen on broadcast will be unveiled, heightening expectations among fans.
A concert official noted, "This national tour concert is a stage that reflects the brothers' musical journey and is a family-oriented concert that all generations can enjoy. We will meet more audiences through the national tour stage and create a performance that conveys the warm emotions of trot music, family love, and brotherly affection to the audience, ensuring it will be a memorable concert."
