A romantic date that increases the excitement index took place on 'Pursuing Old Encounters.'
On the broadcast of KBS Joy, KBS2, and GTV's 'Pursuing Old Encounters' (hereinafter referred to as 'POE') on the 18th, the second date of the connection journey unfolded.
Unlike the first day, the couples were decided by the choices of the male participants. First, Song Byeong-cheol chose Hong-ja, saying he wanted to get to know her better, while Lee Gyu-han expressed that he wanted to date Hwang-bo, who shares similar hobbies. Park Kwang-jae paired up with Sol-bi, with whom he had a great time at the pajama party the previous day, and Lee Kyeon became a couple with Jang So-yeon.
Lee Gyu-han and Hwang-bo enjoyed a 'water' date to beat the summer heat. The two talked about various topics, including driving, pets, hobbies, alcohol tolerance, and birthdays, and arrived at 'water' in a more relaxed atmosphere. Lee Gyu-han showcased his wakeboarding skills, from a superb jump start to smooth boarding, appealing to Hwang-bo, while Hwang-bo flaunted her girl crush charm by driving the jet ski herself.

Park Kwang-jae and Sol-bi enjoyed a romantic date at an amusement park. Park Kwang-jae challenged a balloon dart game to gift a large dog stuffed animal to Sol-bi. Demonstrating high concentration as a former basketball player, he presented the stuffed animal to Sol-bi. Sol-bi said, "It was nice to see him give his all. He looked professional and a bit cooler."
The two, wearing couple headbands, performed a date mission to "create a couple's heart over their heads while riding the Viking." As the angle of the Viking became steeper, the two grew closer and made special memories in their own space.
Lee Kyeon and Jang So-yeon enjoyed a walk date at the healing date spot, Cheonggye Lake. They had in-depth conversations about dating styles and honest thoughts on long-distance relationships.
Lee Kyeon complimented Jang So-yeon, saying, "You shine when you act," while sharing his honest experience about settling in Vietnam, thus growing closer. Jang So-yeon shared her thoughts on the date, saying, "It was a time to discover both commonalities and differences, and I could see Lee Kyeon's various charms."
Next week, a billiards date between Song Byeong-cheol and Hong-ja is set to be revealed, with signs of a subtle love triangle forming among Hwang-bo, Song Byeong-cheol, and Hong-ja. Notably, the preview features Hong-ja confessing, "I felt jealous without realizing it" while watching Hwang-bo and Song Byeong-cheol spending time together, heightening curiosity about the upcoming developments.
