Broadcaster Seo Yu-ri has referred a malicious commenter to the prosecution with the help of her lawyer boyfriend.
On 18th, Seo Yu-ri uploaded a photo to her social account, saying, "The end is in sight."
The photo released is a notification of the investigation results received from the Gyeonggi Goyang Police Station. According to the notification, the malicious commenters Seo Yu-ri sued were referred to the Uijeongbu District Prosecutor's Office for violations of the Stalking Punishment Act, violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation), and charges of insult.
Seo Yu-ri noted last month, "I want to talk about the insults and defamation by a malicious user that have continued for years in a community related to DC Inside Forest (internet broadcasting), as well as the ongoing cyberbullying up to the present day. That malicious user has continuously posted thousands of insulting and defamatory statements, along with sexual harassment, in the DC Inside Forest community. And that behavior is ongoing to this day," adding, "Despite numerous warnings, that user continues to escalate the severity and mock me with posts, showing no sign of stopping their malicious behavior," and hinted at legal action. It seems the case has been referred to the prosecution after more than a month.
In response, Seo Yu-ri said, "Hehe. My boyfriend from DC caught it all♥," showing her affection. This is because Seo Yu-ri previously revealed that she is dating someone involved in the legal field.
Seo Yu-ri appeared on the 'Pajama Sisters' party in June, stating, "Honestly, there hasn't been a break (in dating since my divorce). I'm looking for a connection through dating apps or matchmaking services that have barriers to entry," and confirmed that she is currently in a relationship. She explained, "Actually, my current love interest bought me a pajama. He was born in 1992 and works in the legal field. We met through a matchmaking service."
Meanwhile, Seo Yu-ri married director Choi Myung-gil in April 2019 but divorced last year. During the divorce process, financial conflicts surfaced, and he recently revealed that he repaid about 1.3 billion won of the 2 billion won debt, receiving much support.
