Kep1er member Huening Bahie provided practical advice as a senior member regarding her brother's contract renewal.
Kep1er is set to release their mini album 'BUBBLE GUM' at 6 p.m. on the 19th and conducted a comeback interview with OSEN at a cafe in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 14th.
Kep1er's 7th mini album 'BUBBLE GUM' is a new release after approximately nine months since their sixth mini album 'TIPI-TAP' last year, capturing the group's strengths in powerful performances and addictive vocals, appealing to the public.
Coincidentally, the day of the interview also marked the birthday of Huening Bahie's real brother, Huening Kai from TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Amid overlapping activities since November of last year, when asked if she received any advice from her brother, Huening Bahie noted, 'There were two candidate title songs for this album. I played them for my family since I had a lot of thoughts about the title song. My sister and brother also said they think 'Bubble Gum' will do well. They provided feedback that it is addictive and that the public will likely enjoy it.'
Huening Bahie added, 'I think I can always exchange good stories like that, and having my brother is a source of motivation for my activities.'
When your brother is a senior in the same industry, there are both advantages and disadvantages. Huening Bahie expressed, 'It seems that there are more advantages than disadvantages. There is a sense of security.' She continued, 'When our activities overlap, we greet each other on the way and think, 'My brother is probably watching my stage,' and that motivates me to work hard.'
Kep1er announced an extension of their activities, successfully renewing their contract as the first Mnet project group in May of last year. Recently, TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Soobin mentioned on the variety show 'Radio Star,' 'It is currently the contract renewal period.'
Although her debut was later than her brother's, Huening Bahie experienced a contract renewal first. When asked if she had any advice to share with her brother as a senior member, she replied, 'First, I want to tell him to get along well with the members,' emphasizing that 'being one with the members is the most important thing.'
She also mentioned to Huening Kai, who celebrated his birthday that day, 'First of all, happy birthday! I contacted him right at midnight yesterday, but he hasn't read my message. That was a bit disappointing...,' which prompted laughter.
