"Let's go to the moon." The moonlight rush of Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran, and Jo Ah-ram, filled with hope, begins.
The new MBC Friday-Saturday drama "Let's go to the moon" (planned by Jang Jae-hoon, directed by Oda Young, Jung Hoon, and written by Na Yoon-chae) has confirmed its first broadcast for September 19 and released a teaser poster announcing its launch.
"Let's go to the moon" is a drama that depicts the survival story of three women from humble backgrounds who venture into coin investment as surviving on just their salaries becomes difficult. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Jang Ryu-jin, the casting news of actors with both acting skills and charm, such as Lee Sun-bin (playing Jung Da-hae), Ra Mi-ran (playing Kang Eun-sang), Jo Ah-ram (playing Kim Ji-song), and Kim Young-dae (playing Ham Ji-woo), further heightens expectations.
The teaser poster reveals a powerful train racing toward a giant moon, capturing attention. Surrounding it, sparkling golden coins flutter, adding to the mysterious atmosphere. In particular, the tagline "Life-changing coin train boarding" hints at the journey of those dreaming of an upward trajectory in life, sparking imagination about the exciting story that will unfold.
Looking a little closer, the silhouettes of three characters can be seen reflected in the front window of the train. Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran, and Jo Ah-ram stand side by side, bracing their shoulders against each other as they embark on their journey toward the moon. The firmly connected silhouettes heighten the anticipation of the story they will write together while also reflecting their strong friendship, drawing attention.
The stunning night view of the city spreading in the background symbolizes the fierce reality that the protagonists live in. The train, rising powerfully above it, demonstrates the brave choices of the three characters as they soar beyond reality. The bright headlights bursting from the front of the train reflect their will and hope for a new future termed "life-changing." The night sky, blending shades of purple and blue, evokes a dreamy yet fantastical atmosphere, heightening expectations for the work.
In relation to this, the production team of "Let's go to the moon" mentioned, "Our drama includes the stories of ordinary people dreaming of a 'slightly better' future than now. We will realistically yet joyfully depict the journey of the protagonists, filled with anxiety, excitement, and hope, as they board the coin train. We hope everyone will watch and look forward to their challenges and rush toward the future."
