Comedian Nam Hee-seok shared a story about the past fistfight between his close classmates Park Soo-hong and Choi Seung-gyeong.
On 17th, a video entitled "The best entertainer who needs no words | The truth of the brawl between Park Soo-hong and Choi Seung-gyeong (first release)" was uploaded on the YouTube channel Jo Dong-ahri.
That day, Nam Hee-seok, along with Ji Seok-jin, Kim Yong-man, and Kim Soo-yong, was reminiscing about the past behind-the-scenes stories of their KBS 7th generation casting class when he recalled a 'one-on-one' between Park Soo-hong and Choi Seung-gyeong.
Nam Hee-seok recalled, "Seung-gyeong said, 'I can't stand Park Soo-hong.' At that time, Hyung Soo-hong was thin like a mop, and Seung-gyeong weighed about 130-140 kg. But he insisted on fighting with Hyung, so I stopped him, saying 'crazy XX.'" Then, when the two actually faced each other, Choi Seung-gyeong shouted insults at Park Soo-hong, and the atmosphere spiraled out of control.
Eventually, Park Soo-hong threw the first punch. Nam Hee-seok laughed and said, "Soo-hong's punch lacked power, so it didn't carry weight and flew like The Mantis: Original Sin. Seung-gyeong didn't even flinch after getting hit." The two ended up tangled in a scuffle, but now they've reconciled and live without any issue.
Hearing this, Kim Yong-man added, "It wasn't just a problem of that day; it seems like emotions had been building up from a few days before with mutual disregard. Now it's a memory we can talk about while laughing."
Park Soo-hong and Choi Seung-gyeong are classmates from KBS 7th generation comedians and are close friends. Choi Seung-gyeong transitioned to acting in the early 2000s and is now active as a live commerce creator.
