Broadcaster Seo Yu-ri reported that she filed a lawsuit against online bullies with the help of her boyfriend, who works in the legal field.
On the 17th, Seo Yu-ri posted a notification of the investigation results on social media, stating that "the end is in sight." She added, "My boyfriend caught them all," indicating she received support from her boyfriend.
According to the police report, the online bully that Seo Yu-ri sued has been sent to the prosecution on charges of violating the Stalking Punishment Act, violating the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation), and insult.
Last month, she warned that she would take legal action against the online bully who had tormented her for years. She revealed that she had been subjected to insult, false information dissemination, and cyberbullying in a community related to forest (internet broadcasting).
She stated, "Despite having warned the malicious user several times, they have increasingly intensified their actions, posting mocking messages instead, and have not stopped their malicious behavior." She noted, "They exploited my personal circumstances where I couldn't respond, engaging in online stalking and defamation, and ultimately, I decided to take legal action, thinking I could no longer overlook this."
"Moreover, I want to say something to you, hiding in anonymity and projecting your inner conflicts or deficiencies onto others to resolve what you feel lacking," she criticized. "You are an extremely abnormal and very foolish person. Can you really become invincible as you claimed?"
Seo Yu-ri became legally married after skipping her wedding ceremony with PD Choi Byung-gil in 2019, but they divorced in June last year. She recently revealed that she is dating a boyfriend born in 1992, who works in the legal field, through a marriage information company.
