Lee Ji-hyun, a former member of the girl group Jewelry, shared the challenges she faces as a working mom caring for her daughter and son.
On the 19th, Lee Ji-hyun posted a message and photo on her social media account, saying, "When I drag my tired body home, the house is a mess as I expected. During the break, I set up the house for pajamas every other day. Therefore, it's chaotic. Our home is always welcoming. It's a joy and a blessing to see the kids playing well."
In the released photo, Lee Ji-hyun showed her efforts while caring for her son and daughter during the break. She mentioned cutting her son's hair and helping with homework, sharing her struggles as a working mom.
Lee Ji-hyun said, "As soon as they see me, it's 'I'm hungry, I need this, do that. Number 1 and 2 want to go first! Mom, let me catch my breath,' and added, 'Doing vacation homework the day before school starts is a given, right? For any overdue homework, mom has to help, and I have to pack their bags too. Last time, I was cutting my son's hair when he ran off to play with friends, so I had to finish the haircut. It's all his responsibility, but my son still needs a lot of attention."
Meanwhile, Lee Ji-hyun has been raising her daughter and son alone after two divorces in 2016 and 2020.
Lee Ji-hyun's son was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) on the show "My Precious Child." However, after meeting Dr. Oh Eun-young, he changed and is now recognized as a math prodigy. Recently, he gained attention by winning the top prize at the HME competition.
