According to Chinese media on the 18th, Jet Li posted a past photo of himself in the hospital on his Weibo and Douyin account on the 16th, stating, "I recently went through a difficult trial."
In the released photos, he appeared emaciated, lying in a hospital bed or being wheeled into the hospital. He lightened the mood by adding, "I had a hardware issue, so I went to the factory to get it repaired," easing fans' worries.
