In 'My Little Old Boy,' actor Yoon Si-yoon's filial piety moved viewers.
On the 17th, Yoon Si-yoon went on a trip to Mongolia with his mother in the SBS entertainment show 'My Little Old Boy.'
First, Yoon Si-yoon showed a thorough preparation by making the travel itinerary himself and drew attention by sharing affectionate moments with his mother.
During the trip, at a restaurant, Yoon Si-yoon asked, "Mom, how is the restaurant?" showing concern for her. Even as an adult, Yoon Si-yoon revealed his worries by recalling the struggles his mother faced since his childhood. His mother shared that she had to raise Yoon Si-yoon alone at the young age of 20. Yoon Si-yoon said, "Mom, do you remember? I heard that I cried for three days straight and asked my grandmother for help," and his eyes became red.
Recalling that time, his mother said, "I couldn't go to the hospital because I didn't have money, and I couldn't feed him well because I didn't have enough milk," bringing back memories of the difficult times. Yoon Si-yoon added, "At that time, I had to be separated after being born for 8 months, and I cried loudly because I missed my mom." His mother also shared a heartbreaking memory, saying, "In fact, I had to send him to my grandmother's house in Suncheon a little after 100 days. I don't even remember when he started to walk at that time."
When he was in the 3rd grade of elementary school, his mother had to work in a beauty salon and could not attend Yoon Si-yoon's sports day. She recalled, "When I went to the sports day, I saw my son eating instant noodles alone next to the command squad. I still can't forget that sight. So, I sent him back to my grandmother's house. I think living together was my own greed," and she became tearful.
Yoon Si-yoon expressed his regret, saying, "At that time, I was told it was because I didn't do my homework, but I didn't know that." The members of the Mobengers were moved, visibly emotional, saying, "He grew up well. He's a filial son, Yoon Si-yoon really grew up well. He is kind."
Yoon Si-yoon continued, "When mom came to school, I was proud. Now, I want to show my mom a new world," expressing his desire to gift her with various experiences. His mother also said, "I'm strong. I always prayed asking for the strength to raise just one child," shedding tears.
