International soccer star David Beckham and Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham were indeed disregarded by their eldest son, Brooklyn.
On the 17th (local time), foreign media such as the Mirror and Page Six reported that Brooklyn Beckham ignored his parents, David and Victoria, during his vow renewal speech with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
According to reports, Brooklyn Beckham conducted the vow renewal ceremony with over 200 guests earlier this month at his wife Nicola's family's mansion, and while giving a directing speech, he did not mention his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
A close associate of the couple told the British media, the Mirror, "He spoke from the heart. At the center of his heart was his beloved Nicola, and there was also the Peltz family, who have always stood by him. He wanted to acknowledge them and definitely wanted to express it properly."
However, David and Victoria Beckham did not attend the vow renewal ceremony and enjoyed their vacation, while Brooklyn not mentioning his parents has fueled speculation about a rift.
Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz got married in 2022, and they renewed their vows, saying, "We wanted to honor the love and commitment we have built together over the years." After the event, Nicola shared several photos on her social media, commenting, "This day meant so much to us."
In that post, Rebecca Paria commented, "It is uncomfortable to see people who have received therapy for toxic family dynamics for years coming here and evaluating someone who has actually had the courage to break away from that relationship. Everyone has flattered the Beckham family, but Nicola was the first person to maintain her worth as she had no interest in their fame or money."
She also claimed, "As soon as the Beckham family could no longer control everything, they leaked fake articles to the media, making Nicola look bad in front of the public. I've known her for years, and she is genuine and humble and refuses to live in a superficial world. So, if you don't know the real story, don't speak recklessly."
Brooklyn Beckham reportedly is no longer in contact with not only his parents but also his siblings.
