(Interview ③ continued) Vince, the main producer of the ALLDAY PROJECT, expressed his trust and affection for the members of the ALLDAY PROJECT.
On the 14th, a round interview was held in a cafe in Yongsan, Seoul, to commemorate the comeback of producer and singer-songwriter Vince.
Vince, who has worked on tracks for top domestic artists such as BIGBANG and BLACKPINK, participated as the main producer in the songwriting and composition of the debut songs 'FAMOUS' and 'WICKED' of the mixed group ALLDAY PROJECT, which debuted under The Black Label in June.
When asked if he felt any pressure as the main producer working on the debut song for the ALLDAY PROJECT, Vince said, "When completing the music, I made something I thought was 'cool,' while highlighting the individuality of the members. However, since a mixed group is a unique concept that is not common these days, I was a bit worried if it would be 'okay.'"
Nonetheless, he stated, "When I went to the first music video shooting site and saw the members, even though they are friends I see every day, they looked amazing on video. At that moment, I definitely felt that the public would share similar thoughts. I felt confident."
When asked about the reason for intending a music style like 'FAMOUS,' which features a heavy synthesizer bass rather than a flashy sound, Vince explained, "The members had many points that could become issues even before debut. When it comes to music, I thought it was better for it to come out as 'cool' as we envisioned rather than being explosive. In a way, I approached it with the mindset that it didn't have to be a hit, and we aimed to make it as cool as possible, and it turned out well."
He mentioned that there are definitely plans for the next step of the ALLDAY PROJECT, saying, "The fun part of working with the ALLDAY friends is that each of their individualities is so strong, and they have so many ideas. In a way, I compile their opinions as an elder brother and say, 'Wouldn't it be fun if we did it this way?' and we have discussions to figure things out. In this sense, while there is pressure, I feel that the kids are relieving that pressure directly."
Meanwhile, Vince's new digital single 'CHA CHA CHA' will be released on the 18th at 6 p.m.
