The group BLACKPINK member Lisa has demonstrated a positive influence.
According to Sony Music Korea on the 18th, Lisa donated the revenue from a flea market held in June to the global child rights NGO Good Neighbors.
Lisa previously held the 'Welcome to Lisa's Closet' flea market in Hannam-dong, Seoul, where she sold items from her collection including clothing, accessories, and beauty products. The event received a great response, not only as a special meeting with fans but also for its meaningful purpose of donating revenue.
The donated funds will be used for a water and sanitation support project in Niger, Africa, by Good Neighbors. Good Neighbors plans to utilize the donations to install solar systems, water tanks, and drinking fountains so that over 6,800 residents and children in the Kollo region of Niger can access clean and safe water.
Lisa noted, "Thanks to those who participated in the sharing, it was a precious time to convey hope to someone's future," adding, "I will continue to practice sharing to bring about good changes for children in need."
Having spread positive influence with fans, Lisa is leaving her mark around the world with active participation. Recently, she unveiled the short film for 'Dream,' a track from her first studio album 'Alter Ego,' showcasing a unique chemistry with Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro.
Additionally, Lisa showcased her distinctive presence on the Sahara stage at this year's Coachella as a solo artist, and with 'Born Again,' released in February, she became the third nominee for best K-pop in the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (hereafter 'VMA'), building an impressive career.
Lisa is currently meeting fans through the BLACKPINK world tour 'DEADLINE.'
