Infinite member Kim Sung-kyu has been cast in the musical 'Death Note.'
Kim Sung-kyu will portray the role of L in the musical 'Death Note,' which opens on October 14, meeting audiences.
The musical 'Death Note,' adapted from the eponymous Japanese manga, depicts the thrilling intellectual battle between the genius high school student 'Light,' who obtains the shinigami's notebook known as 'Death Note' and aims to eradicate evil in society to realize justice, and the renowned detective L, who is pursuing him.
Kim Sung-kyu returns as a musical actor through 'Death Note' approximately 11 months after the musical 'Kinky Boots' concluded last November. As his name has consistently appeared in virtual casting lists with a high synchronization rate to L, the news of Kim Sung-kyu's confirmed appearance has triggered a passionate response from global fans.
Based on his stage experience and acting skills accumulated through numerous works, Kim Sung-kyu will not only naturally embody the unique charm of L like a personal color but also present a multidimensional portrayal that captures the character's cold, sharp insight yet childlike recklessness, captivating audiences.
