Singer Moon Won, who is about to marry Shin Ji of the group Koyote, spoke again about the rumors surrounding him.
Moon Won stated on the 17th through his personal social media, 'I have not sued the fans who care about my senior colleagues in Koyote and Ms. Shin Ji,' adding, 'The targets of the lawsuit are only those who have created malicious content or those who initially spread false information and those who have continued to send messages full of personal attacks that are hard to speak of against my family.' He also urged, 'Please refrain from excessive speculation.'
Earlier, on the 16th, Moon made an official statement through the law firm DL and announced that he would take a strong stance against the indiscriminate spread of false information surrounding him and Shin Ji. The law firm explained, 'After the marriage announcement, false information is rapidly spreading across online communities, social media, and YouTube,' and added, 'In particular, some users have repeatedly sent severe insults and personal attack messages to Moon's personal account, resulting in serious mental distress.'
He continued by saying, 'On August 5, 2025, I submitted a criminal complaint against the relevant writers on behalf of Moon,' emphasizing, 'We will respond firmly to the spread of false information and malicious defamation acts in the future.'
Moon also expressed, 'After a long silence, seeing the worries of many has become an opportunity for me to reflect on my words and actions. I will continue to work harder,' but added, 'As information that is not true spreads, many people are being harmed. Therefore, I have taken legal action.'
Meanwhile, Shin Ji received congratulations after announcing her marriage to Moon Won in the first half of next year. However, immediately after, Moon's confession of his divorce history and having a daughter sparked controversy, leading to some questions about his private life. In response, Shin Ji's agency declared that the rumors were unfounded, and Moon also took direct steps to apologize and clarify the situation.
