Actor Oh Dae-hwan revealed the background of how he underwent a vasectomy at the suggestion of his former agency's representative.
On the 18th, during the web entertainment show 'Zzanbro (shortened as Zzanbro)' released on YouTube, actors Jeong Ji-hwa, Song Seung-heon, Lee El, and Oh Dae-hwan, who appeared in the new drama 'My Troublesome Star', were featured as guests. They shared their recent updates on 'Zzanbro' under the guidance of MC Shin Dong-yeob and comedian Jeong Ho-cheol.
Dreaming of becoming a father after marriage, Jeong Ho-cheol, who has three daughters and one son, asked Oh Dae-hwan, who had undergone a vasectomy, "Please let me know when I should have the surgery too." To this, Oh Dae-hwan jokingly replied, "When the eggs are full."
Song Seung-heon asked, "But I'm really curious, why do you have that surgery (vasectomy)?" Oh Dae-hwan answered, "It's to prevent each other," but added, "I'm unique because my wife and I didn't agree on it. My former agency's representative took me to (the surgery)."
He stated, "After having the fourth child, the representative said he felt a heavy responsibility." Shin Dong-yeob chimed in, "You have to pay for child-rearing and work a lot."
Oh Dae-hwan revealed, "That's right. So right after he called, he said, 'It's me, your brother-in-law, can I take Dae-hwan for the surgery?' My wife said 'yes' at that moment."
Jeong Ji-hwa expressed surprise, saying, "That's not based on your own will, right?" Shin Dong-yeob added humorously, "That's more about the representative's sense of responsibility than it is about being dazed on set."
